“ On a recent trip to Chicago with our daughter and granddaughters, we had the wonderful experience of eating at Beatnick on the River. Our daughter chose it based on reviews. The experience did not disappoint. We ate a noon meal and were able to be seated in the enclosed area on the river. The little girls were hungry and enjoyed the hummus and pita. We each ordered a drink, I had white sangria. It was crisp and refreshing. The curry meatballs were superb as were the short ribs. The decor was lovely and cozy. Considering the thousands of restaurants in the Chicago area, I feel so fortunate that we found this gem. ”
“ What a place. Great decor and view of the river. The waiter is a pro, memeorising 15 orders and making recommendations at the same time. Drinks were good and the dishes are flavorful. You need to make reservations as afterwork hours are very busy here. 8 of us were here and we ordered a bunch of things to share which worked out great. ”

Same thing w my friend’s chicken dish - chicken was very dry. Place is a bit overhyped but still a good spot for some classic Mediterranean dishes ”
